Mission
The mission is to advance archaeological and heritage knowledge through documented fieldwork, laboratory science, conservation practice, museum interpretation and education; to train people who can do that work to a professional standard; and to place reliable information in the public domain in English and Hindi.
- Conduct and host research that can be cited, replicated where appropriate, and archived.
- Teach field, laboratory and museum methods without claiming unearned accreditation.
- Support conservation decisions with materials evidence and values assessment.
- Build digital records that remain readable and authentic over decades.
- Engage citizens without turning heritage into unverified spectacle.
